Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics
CFA's Science Media Group is a branch of Harvard-Smithsonian's Science Education Group. With funding from Annenberg/Corporation for Public Broadcasting, they have produced 600 hours of highly acclaimed educational videos examining teaching methods in mathematics and the natural sciences.
The organization is exploring effective ways of moving this video into an online format. I created a prototype of an online course using one of these videos to help teachers study and develop the techniques they use in interacting with students.
